This year's Golf Classic is in memory of Rick Barnett, our former Board President who passed away suddenly last summer.  Rick was a tireless advocate for JDRF and was a champion both on and off the course.  Rick's motto was "go big or go home."  When it came to JDRF, Rick went big.  He devoted endless hours to raising money for research because he believed that JDRF would one day cure type 1 diabetes.  Rick had hope, for his daughter Hannah, and for the 1.25 million Americans who struggle with this relentless disease 24/7, 365 days a year.
